About Source Healthcare Systems
Source was founded in 1998 as an Internet company providing medical supplies and information to the disability and seniors markets.
In 2000 Source entered into an agreement with Beverly Enterprises, the largest Nursing Home company in the United States, to provide comprehensive web services for its medical supply subsidiaries. Source designed, programmed, launched, and maintained Beverly's sites, and assisted sales forces in introducing the new online products. Within 3 months, 10% of all orders were received online. When Beverly divested its medical supplies subsidiaries early in 2002, Source took its products and expertise into the marketplace.
In spring 2002 Source agreed to provide hosted, web-enabled, software to Choice Medical Supplies, a disposable medical supply company in the Seattle region. That software launched in September 2002.
In summer 2002 Source agreed to provide hosted software for Western Rehab Solutions, a durable medical equipment dealer in the San Francisco Bay Area. This software is scheduled to launch in November 2002.
